Open VitalReach and get comfortable
Open the VitalReach app, start a scan and sit somewhere well-lit. You don’t need any cuffs or wearables – just your phone.
Look at the camera for about a minute
Hold your phone at eye level, keep still, and follow the on-screen guidance. The app analyses subtle facial signals to estimate your vitals.
Review a clear summary of your vitals
When the scan completes, you’ll see a simple overview: values, normal/borderline/flagged indicators, and when to repeat or follow up.
Results flow into your Vital Healthcare record
Each scan is stored as structured data in your secure health record. If something looks concerning, it can be picked up for follow-up by the wider Vital Healthcare care pathways.
Core vitals
VitalReach estimates a set of core physiological metrics to help you and your care team spot trends over time.
- Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)
- Respiratory rate
- Blood pressure (systolic and diastolic estimates)
- Oxygen saturation (SpO₂)
Wellbeing indicators
Alongside vitals, VitalReach derives markers linked to general wellbeing and cardiovascular load.
- Stress index and variability
- Inter-beat interval
- BMI (using height and weight you provide)
- Confidence scores so low-quality scans can be retried
VitalReach does not provide a diagnosis and should not replace advice from a medical professional. It is designed to support monitoring and early conversations, not to decide treatment on its own.
VitalReach turns a quick camera scan into structured vitals you can actually read — and track over time. Here’s the flow, on your phone.

Onboarding – 3 scans free
Experience VitalReach properly before deciding on a subscription.
- 1st scan: unlocked as soon as you register.
- 2nd scan: unlocked after viewing a short introduction to Vital Healthcare.
- 3rd scan: unlocked after completing a quick in-app survey.
After your third scan, you’ll see a simple history of your results. At that point, you can decide if you’d like to continue on a monthly plan.
Subscription – simple and affordable
A straightforward subscription with no hidden fees.
- 4 scans each month (roughly weekly).
- Built-in reminders so you don’t forget.
- Unused scans do not roll over – keeping a consistent pattern.
- Occasional extra scans via special campaigns or offers.
On-device processing
The scan uses your front-facing camera to analyse subtle facial signals, but:
- No camera images or videos are stored on your phone by VitalReach.
- No raw images or video are uploaded to remote servers.
- Only the derived numbers (e.g. “heart rate: 72 bpm”) are sent securely to Vital Healthcare.
Secure by design
VitalReach is part of the Vital Healthcare platform, which applies strict clinical and data protection standards.
- Encrypted transmission of results.
- Encrypted storage in your medical record.
- Comprehensive audit logging of each scan.
- Explicit biometric consent before you ever start.

Patients wanting more visibility
Whether you’re monitoring blood pressure, stress, or just your general wellbeing, VitalReach adds structured information between appointments.
People working with Vital Healthcare
Because VitalReach sits inside the Vital Healthcare platform, your scans can support future conversations with clinicians and digital care services.
Is VitalReach giving me a medical diagnosis?
No. VitalReach provides estimated physiological measurements and flags when they may be outside usual ranges, but it does not diagnose conditions or recommend treatment. Always talk to a healthcare professional about any concerns.
Is my camera recording me?
VitalReach uses your camera to analyse your facial signal in real time, but it does not store or upload video or photos. Only the derived numerical results are encrypted and sent to Vital Healthcare systems.
Do I have to be a Vital Healthcare patient to use VitalReach?
VitalReach is designed to work as part of the Vital Healthcare digital platform. Availability may depend on how your care is set up. Your provider or the Vital Healthcare team can advise whether VitalReach is enabled for your account.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel at any time via your app store’s subscription settings. You’ll keep access until the end of the current billing period.
What happens if my scan looks “abnormal”?
If a scan is outside preset thresholds, VitalReach will highlight this and may trigger follow-up inside the Vital Healthcare platform – for example, a suggestion to repeat the scan, an automated questionnaire, or a review by a clinician. In an emergency, always call your local emergency services.
Ready to check your health using only your camera?
Start with your free scans, build a small history of your vitals, and give your future conversations with clinicians more data to work with – all without leaving home.
