Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the VitalReach app and related Vital Healthcare services (the “Service”), provided by Pryvate Technologies Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, along with our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
To use VitalReach you must:
- be 18 or over (or have access specifically arranged through an appropriate provider or guardian);
- have a compatible smartphone and a Vital Healthcare account;
- provide accurate registration information and keep your login secure.
2. What the Service does
VitalReach uses your phone’s front-facing camera to estimate indicators such as heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and stress. Results are estimates with confidence scores and are stored in your Vital Healthcare record. The camera feed is processed on your device; photos and video are not stored or uploaded (see the Privacy Policy).
3. Free scans and subscription
- Onboarding: your first 3 scans are free — the 1st on registration, the 2nd after a short introduction, and the 3rd after a quick in-app survey.
- Subscription: after your free scans you may subscribe for £3 per month for 4 scans (roughly weekly).
- Unused scans do not roll over from one period to the next.
- We may occasionally offer extra scans through campaigns or offers.
- Billing & renewal: subscriptions are purchased and auto-renew through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. You can cancel anytime in your app-store subscription settings and keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices may change; we will give notice as required before any change affects you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anyone other than yourself without proper authorisation;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- rely on results as a substitute for professional medical care;
- use the Service unlawfully or in a way that could harm the Service or other users.
5. Scan accuracy and your responsibility
Results depend on lighting, stillness, device quality and other factors, and are estimates rather than clinical-grade measurements. Low-quality scans may be flagged for you to retry. Always discuss any health concern, symptom or flagged result with a qualified healthcare professional.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including the VitalReach and Vital Healthcare names, logos, software and content, is owned by Pryvate Technologies Ltd or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your personal use in line with these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features, and may update these terms; where changes are significant we will notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pryvate Technologies Ltd is not liable for any decision made, or action taken or not taken, in reliance on VitalReach estimates, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
